Summer Shipping Pause
Every summer, we pause shipments to protect fragrance ingredients from heat damage in transit. High temperatures during transport can compromise the stability and quality of raw materials, especially during the hottest weeks of the season.
Orders placed during this period are processed and held in climate-controlled storage until shipping resumes. This means your order is prepared and ready — only the dispatch date is delayed, to make sure what reaches you is in the same condition as when it left our lab.
Shipping resumes regularly by September 20.

PREMIUM NATURAL SPICY-LEATHERY SAFFRON EXTRACT
Afghan Saffron Tincture (CAS 84604-17-1) is a natural extract obtained by macerating the dried crimson stigmas of Crocus sativusin 5%/1% food-grade ethanol. Its profile is warm and leathery, layered with spicy, fruity, and woody-boozy facets over a hay-like, floral base. Sourced from Herat, Afghanistan, it carries the elevated crocin, picrocrocin, and safranal levels for which that origin is prized, giving a depth that synthetic saffron notes rarely reach.
It belongs to the spicy-leathery family and functions as a heart-to-base natural fixative, anchoring volatile top notes while adding golden warmth to the dry-down. It blends with rose, oud, woods, resins, and other spices, performing across oud, woody, oriental, and leather accords.

Vanilla Pompona Tincture 10% in ETOH is a natural, food-grade extract obtained from Vanilla pompona pods, diluted in dipropylene glycol for perfumery and flavoring applications. Sourced from Peru, this tincture offers a sweet, gourmand profile with vanilla, phenolic, and warm bean-like notes.
It functions as a base note and fixative in fragrances, while also serving culinary use due to its food-grade classification.

It also finds use in amber and chypre compositions, where it lends a soft oriental nuance. Schiff 001 is known for its excellent synergy with macrocyclic musks, contributing to round, long-lasting scent profiles.

Cashmeran® (CAS 33704-61-9) — also known as DPMI or Musk Indanone — is a polycyclic synthetic moleculedeveloped by IFF that bridges woody, musky, and amber tonalities. Its structure, a dihydro-indanone ketone, produces a uniquely warm, diffusive, and long-lasting scent with a soft “cashmere-like” texture. The olfactory profile blends woody-musky depth with subtle spicy-floral and coniferous nuances, creating volume and sensuality across both masculine and feminine compositions.
Highly substantive and remarkably versatile, Cashmeran® serves as a bridge molecule that harmonizes musk softness with woody structure, providing smoothness, warmth, and diffusion to modern fragrance architectures. With excellent stability and fixative power, it is essential in amber, oriental, and woody-musk accords, as well as in high-end personal and functional fragrances.
Premium Synthetic Fruity-Woody Acetate
OTBCHA (CAS 88-41-5), chemically identified as 2-tert-butylcyclohexyl acetate, is a synthetic aliphatic ester developed by IFF and marketed under the trade name Verdox®. The molecule exists as cis/trans stereoisomers, with commercial grades typically containing 60-95% of the cis isomer. Its profile is defined by fresh apple-green top notes with marked woody-cedar and violet-ionone facets, evolving into subtle powdery-ambery undertones. Unlike sugary fruity esters, OTBCHA delivers an abstract, sophisticated character that bridges fruit, forest, and floral elements—not a photorealistic apple, but a complex interpretation suggesting tea-like transparency and cashmeran warmth simultaneously.
Functionally, this material demonstrates medium tenacity (4-8 hours on blotters) and operates as a top-to-mid note bridge with moderate volatility. Its tert-butyl-substituted cyclohexyl structure provides exceptional stability in alkaline media (pH 3-11), making it indispensable for functional perfumery applications like shampoos and detergents where traditional esters would degrade. Effective at 1-10% in fine fragrance and up to 15% in functional formulations, OTBCHA acts as a diffusive connector, adding volume and radiance without weight while facilitating smooth transitions between fruity top notes and woody-ambery bases.

Vertofix enhances volume, diffusion, and fixative strength in compositions featuring cedar, amber, or dry woods. It is particularly effective in masculine, woody-amber, and fougère blends.
