I started this career at the age of 17, When I was surrounded constantly by the magnetic scent of Sicily. Oranges, Lemons and Mandarins are all over. At the age of 18 I got accepted at the prestigious ISIPCA (Institut Supérieur International dû Parfum, Cosmétique et arômes alimentaires) as the only Italian in the course and sponsored by Takasago EPL (Paris, 17eme).

That year I won the European sponsorship program called Leonardo Da Vinci which brought me in Germany working for Fragrance Resources (now part of IFF) as a trainee perfumer.
I was trained as a junior perfumer in fine fragrances only by Mr. Rolf Czyppull and Dirk Lauven (Named in 2021 IFF Master Perfumer).

Back in the day I immediately got a job as citrus production quality supervisor and citrus oils sales agent. I traveled a lot. Japan, Korea, United States, UK, Europe.

13 months later I left my job to learn more about gas chromatography end mass spectrometry, so I become an intern in the chemistry department of the University of Messina, Which hosts two of the most important analytical chemists in the world: Luigi Mondello and Giacomo Dugo — which was my teacher.

It is also the center of research and development of Shimadzu (gas chromatography machines).

The year later (2015) I decided to go back to fragrance creations I was getting too much into the analysis side. So I joined the ex Givaudan-Roure perfumery school in Grasse (now Grasse Institute of perfumery).

In the same year I worked with Argeville as a trainee perfumer analyst and as a naturals ingredient researcher at E.R.I.N.I (European research Institute of natural ingredients) lab.

I later joined the SFP (Société Française des Parfumeurs), by sponsorship of Mr Peyron, the ex Président d'honneur of SFP. We did also a publication tougher, “the sensation of freshness” it was called — on Cosmetic Technology.

Well after this excursus of my career here we are. Time passes, and the only thing I want is to make more fragrances.
